Question by : Are veg*ans generally healthier because a higher percentage of them watch what they eat?
…compared to people who include meat in their diet.

Discuss.
What about if you compare vegetarians who watch what they eat to omnivores who watch what they eat?

Or vegetarians who don’t to omnivores who don’t?

At the moment, the logic in my mind is saying that omnivores would be healthier, because they can eat vegetarian food AND meat while vegetarians can’t eat meat.

Plus I’ve often seen posts here about newbie vegetarians fainting from malnutrition because they don’t properly monitor their diets, whereas equally vigilant omnivores tend to get fat/sick less easily or quickly.
